Why do rainy mornings always make me want to curl up on the couch with a cup of coffee and a good book?
It’s one of those days today.
And it doesn’t help that i’m reading four really good books right now.

Last night i was heading out the door for my run. And this is the thought (prayer?) that goes through my head, “i hope i finish this run listening to ‘Lullaby’ by Billy Joel” (i’ll tell you why later).

We met at 9:30 at the Methodist Children’s Home.
There were rooms and hallways to be painted. And the Quota Club was up for the task! We started at 9:30. We had buckets, paint brushes, rolling pan thingees, drop clothes and wet towels (for the occasional paint drippy mess).

I had an awesome weekend. Call me crazy, but i do love the craziness of football season.
My typical Friday nights during football season go like this:

…that’s why we were at the stadium until 10 p.m.
…someone has to set up the 10 registers (and reprogram them for the new combos we’ll be selling)

I’m sitting here trying to think of something interesting to chat about. But really, i’ve got nothing.
It is rather quiet around here.
The new school year has started and seems to be going well.
Paige loves being an 8th grader i think. I hope she’ll enjoy it as much when she heads to high school next year.
